Step-by-Step Guide to Cosmetic Tattooing

OK, you've thought about Ombre or Lip Blush for a while and need a bit more information to feel comfortable and know whats involved. You're in the right place! Have a read below and please reach out via the contact form for further questions or information.

I believe that confidence starts with clarity. This break down of the procedure walks you through exactly what to expect, from your very first enquiry to the final result.

1. Preparing for Your Appointment
We provide clear, simple preparation guidelines so your skin is in the best possible condition for treatment. This step maximises your comfort and ensures the pigment heals beautifully.

2.  Consultation & Design
We start with an in-depth conversation about your goals, preferences, and natural features. Together, we map and design the perfect shape and colour to suit you, ensuring you feel confident before we begin.

3. The Treatment
Our technique is gentle and precise, using advanced tools and pigments for stunning, natural-looking results. Your comfort is always our priority, with numbing gel available throughout the process.

4. Immediate Aftercare
Right after your treatment, we’ll guide you through caring for your new brows or lips. Following our easy aftercare instructions will ensure optimal healing and colour retention.

5. The Healing Process
In the first week, you may notice changes in colour intensity, this is completely normal. We’ll explain exactly what to expect during each stage, so there are no surprises. You also leave with a goodie bag that includes aftercare information and luxe products to support the process.

6. Perfecting Session
Around 6 weeks from your initial appointment, I will see you for a follow-up appointment to perfect your results, making adjustments (if needed) and solidifying pigment so everything is just right.

7. Long-Lasting Confidence
With proper care, your cosmetic tattoo can last around 2 years. This duration is a reflection of the EU grade certified pigments we use that are designed to naturally break down in your body, fading gradually without the harsh ink residue you see from other pigments.

8. Maintenance
I will provide advice on maintaining your results and booking colour/pigment boosts when the time comes. Generally clients choose to have a colour boost at 12 or 18 months. Think of this as a freshen up to the colour to keep your tattoo looking defined.
